Get in on the plan of God. This world, as it is now, is not our home. Matthew 24:35 says, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away". First John 2:16-17 says, "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever".
Second Peter 3:11-14 says, "Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless".
Revelation 21:5 says, "And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful". Isaiah 65:17 says, "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind". The heavens and earth are destined for a new birth just as your spirit experienced when you were born again.
Isaiah 43:18-19 says, "Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert". We as children of the most high God must prepare ourselves for the new thing He is doing with us to fulfill His plans and purposes in our lives. We are not to think back on how things have been before, nor are we to allow ourselves to be stuck in a comfort zone. This is a time to seek the Lord with freshness and a new zeal and fervency.
The words of Isaiah 60:1-2 speak loudly and clearly to all that have an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. Those words are, "Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee". Amen to the revealed Word and ways of God.
